Due to the ever changing nature of flowers, substitutions may be made to you order. Should a flower in your arrangement not be available, our flower experts will make a substitution such that your arrangement will maintain the same look and feel as what is pictured on our site. If a significant substitution must be made, you will be contacted personally regarding our available options.
Covid-19 Delivery Policy Update: Our policy is to make your delivery on the date requested via no-contact methods. During times when there is rain or snow in the forecast we will call ahead to b sure the recipient will be home or at their place of business. All recipients will be called ahead of delivery if the temperature is below 50 degrees for plants or 35 degrees for flowers or the temperature will fall below that temperature within two hours of delivery. All recipients will be called when the delivery is made regardless of whether we have called them and made contact before coming out to deliver. This allows our delivery personnel to ensure that the recipient is aware that their delivery has been left and that they should retrieve your gift from outside as soon as possible. Deliveries left after making positive contact with the recipient will not be subject to replacement due to damage from being left outside. We do everything within our power to convey the importance of retrieving those items quickly and will not leave something without positive confirmation that someone will be at the address provided. If no positive confirmation can be made and the temperatures will fall below the thresholds described above, the gift will be returned to The Flower Room for another delivery attempt when positive confirmation can be obtained.
Our policy is to make your delivery on the date you requested (weather permitting) unless you specifically asked us to call the recipient first. If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, our delivery staff will make a decision as to whether or not it is safe to leave the delivery (on a front porch, at another door, or with a friendly neighbor), and we will notify the recipient by phone and with a door tag. In cases of inclement weather (very hot, very cold, blizzard, etc.) we will call to reschedule delivery.
If you’re not sure if the recipient will be in town, please check first or ask us to call to schedule their delivery. We generally need a two hour time span that the recipient will be home to make the delivery. If a recipient is out of town and a delivery has been left for them without you asking us to call first to schedule the delivery, additional fees will apply for us to pick up and re-deliver your gift.
We make every effort to honor as many same day delivery requests as possible. To ensure same day delivery, please order before 1pm. Call to confirm your delivery for same day can still be made if ordering after 1pm. If you have special delivery requirements or specific flower requests, we are happy to help.
